Thursday’s Schedule

Thursday Afternoon Prayer And Bible Study

On Thursday afternoons we have an edifying time of prayer and Bible study. This takes place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

At the beginning, people are welcome to mention prayer requests, as well as share a testimony. We then engage in a season of prayer to communicate to God all of our needs, and we commit the day into His hands.

A Bible study is then conducted, with a group leader sharing with the people precious things from the Word of God. Open discussion is allowed, and many good questions and answers are brought forth in this time. This activity in the afternoon is attended by our Jesus/Mercy House residents, as well as people from the community who are willing to join us.Sunday / Thursday Services.

Prayer Meeting

On Thursday evenings atĀ 6:00 p.m. we gather for a time of prayer. We enjoy and take advantage of this time to communicate with our Heavenly Father. Our people petition God with a variety of requests. An example of this is how we regularly pray that God would bless and protect people in the community. People are welcome to speak aloud their prayers to God, or communicate in a whisper to the Lord. We are glad that the Lord hears all of our prayers and knows the needs in our lives.

Thursday EveningĀ  Service

On Thursdays starting at 7:30 p.m., we have what we call our “services.”

It is a time where people from the suburbs and the city gather together to worship the Lord, experience the power of the Holy Spirit, and be edified through the preaching of the Word. In the first part of these events music is played and people are encouraged to sing along and praise the Lord.

The Word of God is delivered to us through various ministers within our own body, they give us the message that God has laid upon their hearts through prayer. It is an edifying and uplifting time for all, and we love to tell people to “come as you are.”

It is our desire that there be no racial, cultural, social, or denominational barriers between us. You are welcome to attend any function of Peacemakers regardless of what you have, how you are dressed, or what you may look like.
