Sunday’s Schedule
Sunday Morning Church Service
On Sundays beginning at ll a.m. we have what we call our “services.”
It is a time where people from the suburbs and the city gather together to worship the Lord, experience the power of the Holy Spirit, and be edified through the preaching of the Word. In the first part of these events music is played and people are encouraged to sing along and praise the Lord. The Word of God is delivered to us through our Pastor Steve Upshur, as He gives us the message that God has laid upon his heart for us. It is an edifying and uplifting time for all, and we love to tell people to “come as you are.”
It is our desire that there be no racial, cultural, social, or denominational barriers between us. You are welcome to attend any function of Peacemakers regardless of what you have, how you are dressed, or what you may look like.
Nursing Home Afternoon Ministry
Every Sunday at 3 p.m. we minister at St. Michael’s, which is a nursing home located at 7 Mile and Conant.
This group, led by Wilbur Jarrett, ministers to the elderly. They have a good time in the Lord, sharing and testifying about the good things of God.
This is an important area of ministry as we understand that the elderly are commonly ignored and set aside in this day and age.
Sunday Evening Discipleship Class
Various Bible teachers affiliated with our ministry come and give a teaching at 7 p.m. which is part of a larger curriculum that is followed week by week. Its an important time for laying a foundation that is needed within the life of every believer.
