Peacemakers International now has its own home made eggs for sale! Our chickens are raised and fed according to healthy standards you need to sample our own Peacemakers eggs! We are asking $2.50 a dozen, please see Shirley Robinson if you’d like some!
It has almost been six months since our last Progress Meeting, and we will have one this Wednesday, October 21 as we said before that we would. We want to bi-annually review our progress as a ministry, celebrate the ground the Lord has caused us to gain, and talk about areas in which we can further improve. Make plans to come on the 21st, and we will begin at 7 p.m.
NOTE: Soon please give Jeremiah any ideas about progress that you believe that we have made in the last six months.
We want to make sure everybody knows that you can purchase CD’s of any sermon preached at Peacemakers for $3. Please see Bill Nuckolls about this. Very shortly we will have a nice custom designed label for our CD’s. Support this area of ministry!
There is a fundraiser being put on for Pastor Calvin Simpson, who preaches at Peacemakers every Friday. The event will be held this Thursday, October 22 at 7 p.m. There will be dinner and entertainment. The cost is $75 per person. If possible come and support this wonderful man’s ministry on the west side of Detroit. See Jeremiah Upshur for more details.
If anyone is interested in getting involved in prison/jail ministry, please see Jeremiah Upshur. We have representatives who go to Jackson prison once a month for a couple services. We also could use your help in writing letters to prisoners. If anyone would like to contribute to help offset fuel costs for the prison ministry, they need about $20 a month. It would be greatly appreciated.
